3-8-12:
It's been a pretty busy season so far. Still a lot of winter bookings ahead. Right now I've got the window open next to me, as it is nearly 60 degrees today! I am sick of the cold weather already. This feels pretty good. I'm currently in the process of redesigning my website, and it should be ready to unveil mid April. Not a lot else to report on right now. Keep your eyes on my schedule and catch a show soon! Enjoy the day :-)

Easter Sunday! What a great day it has been. The new site is finished! As my schedule began ramping up in January, the company which hosted my old site informed me that they would be closing at the end of April. I was not impressed. I was given 3 months to learn a new system or lose my site alltogether. And to sweeten the pot, I had 5 years of information to transfer from the old site. With winter being one of my busiest seasons, this inconvenience has been a very unwelcomed time drain. I've done my best to carry over all the info from my previous site, along with a few new photos sprinkled throughout to keep things interesting. Take some time to check it out!

Big changes taking place! First, I've begun a second career as a real estate agent at Century 21 Winn Associates, in Littleton, NH! My first day at the office was June 4th, and so far I'm loving it. I'm licensed to represent both buyers and sellers, so if you know of anyone that is thinking about selling or anyone that may be looking to own, please pass along my info!
Don't worry...I'm not giving up the music! I will continue to perform in the evenings and on weekends. My goal is to scale back and perform 2 to 3 shows each week, instead of 4 to 5. I love performing, I just regret that I've put all my eggs in one basket for so long. 150+ shows each year for the past 5 years has taken its toll on me.
Josselyn had her first dance recital on June 1st. She did great! After almost 9 months of driving her to practice, it felt good to see her finally take to the stage. Both Ronda and I think she has the performance bug now! She also lost her first tooth the night before! AND she turned 6 years old on June 12th!!!
In not so pleasant news.....Yesterday, I went in for surgery to have a cyst removed from my right cheek sinus cavity. I'm pretty sore as I'm writing this. I have 2 stints in my nasal passages, that are going to be removed on Thursday. How I react to that will determine if I'll be ready to go for the weekend shows. If all goes well, I'm hoping to be back at it this Friday night at the Creamery in Danville, VT. Time will tell.

So much to catch up on... With 2012 at an end, it's time to reflect on the year that was, and anticipate the new year that is to come. First a late update from my previous entry. I did perform that Friday night, just 4 days removed from sinus surgery! As of today, I am fully recovered, & happy to put that miserable experience in my rearview mirror. Back to feeling good!
--- MUSIC NEWS ---
My Dec. 29th show at Ragged Mtn. Ski Resort marked my 161st show of 2012!
Many great venues have kept me busy this past year, along with a number of private parties & a total of 8 weddings (which I've never been a huge fan of performing). I've been entertaining for a long time now, and its the only time that I still get nervous. The last thing I want to do is mess up on the biggest day of someone's life! Many thanks to all the newlyweds for allowing me to part of such a memorable day!

I spent the 2nd half of 2012 trying to balance family life & two careers.
Thanks be to God that I still have my sanity.
I am optimistic and filled with hope as I look ahead to 2013!
